  报告题目:Development of Chemical Heat Storage Technology Enhanced by SrCl2/NH3 Ammine Complex Formation Reaction 

  报告内容简介: 

  For improvement of energy efficiency of vehicle, ammine complex formation reaction with strontium chloride is expected for the chemical heat storage. This reaction was selected assuming the situation of heat release at 0oC or less, and heat storage with low quality heat of 90oC or less. For develop the vehicle mounted device, both of high heat output and high energy density is necessary. In this study, the rate of three phenomena in the reactor (mass transfer, chemical reaction, heat transfer) were evaluated respectively with experimental procedures for the purpose of making performance prediction simulator. As a result, it was confirmed that the mass transfer and the chemical reaction was not the rate-determining step. And the heat transfer was the rate-determining in this reaction system because of the high thermal resistance of λeff=0.18W/m/K in the thermal conductivity and Rc=2.3×10-3 m2K/W in the contact thermal resistance. Although further study is needed for accuracy, it became able to predict and suggest the optimal design of the reactor. This method can apply to any other reactions for chemical heat storage.
